SMOKING OR FRIENDS

I mentioned on the morning show that a number of my friends still smoke and I quit almost nine months ago. These are really good girlfriends that I have had for years and we always have the best time. It's really important for a single gal to have her friends but I always get tempted to smoke when around them. And yes, sometimes I give in and have a couple of cigarettes. I don't want to give up hanging out with my girls but I don't want to start smoking too. They won't stop smoking around me and I don't blame them...I wouldn't have either. And yes, it is extremely hard to be around smokers when you have quit.

    totally agreed. everytime i thought i was "quitting", i'd be out with friends and then that would be the end of that. we also had a "10am smoking club" here... hard to quit bc i always thought i'd be missing something if i didn't show up.
