Movies on t-v....

My roomates and I turned on the t-v after getting back from dinner Saturday night to find that the movie "The Wedding Date" was almost over. My friend Terry says it is one of her favorites and was disppointed that we had missed it. I pointed out to her that we actually have the DVD there at the house but no one was actually interested in putting on the DVD. Isn't it funny how we come across a movie we like on t-v and will sit through all the commercials and such even when we have a commercial free copy right there. We can also pause and rewind the DVD. I do it myself too. It's kinda crazy...and I'm not sure why we all do it!

    So true! My kids bought me the Pretty Woman DVD because anytime it's on, I'll watch it. I've had it for 2 years, it's still in the plastic wrapper. I watched it again last week, on TV!

    omg Wendy, this is SO TRUE! I will flip through 900 channels (400 of which are in Spanish for some reason)... and stop at movies I own. And for some reason, only movies I own! I was actually thinking of ebaying off most of my DVD collection bc of this bad habit!
