Very First Home!

I just purchased a condo...well, the bank purchased it and agreed to let me live there if I continue to pay them for the next thirty years. But anyway...I'm having the best time painting and getting new carpets and furniture. And it really is true what they say....there is always something when you own a home. I already have a list at least two pages long of things I want to do to the place but don't have any money for. I definitely have enough to get me started and I'm thrilled. Any advice or funny stories to share about your first home...decorating nightmares or anything you want to share....
